IASLab 2.0, our automated print quality measurement software, is key to helping QEA customers improve productivity.

IASLab 2.0 includes test targets and a library of automated test sequences that analyze virtually every image attribute affecting human perception of print quality -- and with IASLab 2.0, you start collecting meaningful data from the first day.

Analyses include line quality, color registration, inter-color bleed, SFR, text quality, dot and halftone quality, tone reproduction, density, color, graininess, mottle, motion quality and banding. Key functionality includes fiducials to compensate for image shift and skew.

The new release now supports "nested" sequences, enabling you to scan targets quickly for fiducials, scan multiple regions at different resolutions, and optimize both target development and scanning efficiency.

You can easily customize targets and sequences for new PQ features and measurements.

A revised and expanded user guide includes a tour of the software that explains each tool in the IASLab 2.0 toolbox with sample images and step-by-step instructions.

Other advances in QEA's product line-up include new and improved products for electrophotography, image analysis and high security printing.

The DRA-2000LB is our recently introduced option for testing EP transfer belts. The system is used by printer manufacturers and transfer belt suppliers.

Another recent addition is the MFA-2000L, a magnetic field distribution analysis system for evaluating mag roller magnets. The system is used by laser cartridge remanufacturers, mag roller sleeve suppliers and magnet suppliers.

Image analysis continues to advance with the DIAS, a portable Distinctness of Image (DOI) meter. The DIAS is used by manufacturers of inkjet and laser printers, papers and films, inks and toners.

Our work in security applications has also moved ahead. Our high-security printing analysis systems for bank note quality control is now available in both bench-top and portable configurations.

And there's more in the pipeline. We invite you to contact QEA for more information.
